Temporary Modification of Rent Notwithstanding the rent indicated elsewhere in the present lease, the Parties agree to the following: Agreed Rent The monthly rent agreed between the LESSOR and the LESSEE for the dwelling is Three Thousand Dollars ($3,00.00) (the Agreed Rent). >> Temporary Rent Reduction -- current LESSEE Compensation From the commencement date of the new lease until August 31st, 2026, the rent payable by the new Lessee shall be $2,750.00 per month (the Temporary Rent). The difference between the Agreed Rent and the Temporary Rent, being One Hundred Dollars ($250.00) per month, shall be paid to the LESSOR, pursuant to a separate agreement that will be annexed. This amount shall not be considered a rent reduction, but a temporary incentive offered by the current LESSEE. >> No Waiver / No Precedent The temporary rent reductions described above are exceptional and limited in time. They do not constitute a waiver of the Agreed Rent, nor do they establish a precedent for future rent setting, renewal, or adjustment under the Act respecting the Tribunal administratif du logement. Except as expressly modified by this clause, all other terms and conditions of the lease remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
