Cette maison d'inspiration victorienne est coiffée, dans le corps principal, d'une tourelle en ressaut comprenant un balcon qui sort des combles. Celui-ci est couvert d'un toit pentu à quatre versants en forme de pinacle sur base carrée. Des lucarnes à joues en fronton en émergent sur chaque côté et un faîteau le couronne. Dans le corps latéral, le ressaut du mur se termine par une seconde tourelle coiffée d'un autre faîteau et d'une girouette figurée en coq.

Toute l'ornementation de la maison, du balcon, de la galerie et du parement sous la galerie est de fine ébénisterie.

La maison fut construite par Narcisse Drouin, fils de Médéric, sur la terre de Narcisse, frère de Médéric. Elle fut vendue en 1914 à Fortunat Jacques, puis à son fils Joseph-Vital. La famille Jacques l'a possédée jusqu'en 1984. - **
