* All the doors in the house were replaced.
* The kitchen floor, previously vinyl, was replaced with ceramic.
* The basement access, which was previously open, was closed and a door was installed.
* In the basement, to address a humidity issue, materials were removed down to the concrete. A treatment with tar, spray foam, and insulation was applied, then closed. A ventilation system was added. The laminate flooring was replaced with ceramic.
* Retaining walls were built between the neighboring properties to correct the ground level and improve water drainage around the house.
* The driveway was redone and widened. The old retaining wall with the lower neighbor was removed and rebuilt on the property line with new materials, which added about 2 feet of yard space.
* The old low fence with the lower neighbor was replaced with a 6-foot fence for more privacy.
* All old laminate floors in the house were replaced.
